Spending time with friends, school, music, learning new things, history, news, politics (Classical Liberal, a.k.a. super conservative in Anglo-Saxon world, and I subscribe to the Classical school of economics a la Adam Smith, to the Classical Realist school of international relations thought, and to the Whig model of the Presidency), Constitution Party (NO MORE BUSHIT!! :) ), Church (I'm a Southern Baptist), America, Pre-1959 Cuba, Pre-1917 Russia, England, traveling (I love traveling, been to UK, Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, France (1999), and Russia (2003) (heart throbbing), Germany again (2006) and look forward to more traveling in the future), foreign countries, cultures, and politics, et cetera.

Your wise quote is: "The best
antiques are old friends" by Unknown...
Your buds are the source of your happiness
(maybe not all but still). Even if it's just
one, a couple or a whole group they are the
ones you can't wait to see. It does not matter
if you're shy with everyone else or not, with
them you let your true spirit shine and can be
as loud as you want. They accept you, and you
love them for that.

You're an Armed Rebellion. You work hard all day
long and try to have a decent living, but when
push comes to shove you fight back. You're a
bit blunt and gruff, but normally peaceful
unless pushed too far. A typical citizen who
wants his/her rights can be a major irritation
to an oppressive government.

I like 80s music, classic rock, oldies, anything Old Cuban or Old Cuban style, disco, classical, Chinese classical, old school Soca, Samba, Russian folk and ecclesiastical music, pretty much everything except for rap, country, intolerably unpleasant hard rock pieces (sorry to anyone I offended), and that obnoxious, low-class reggaeton crap.
I tend to like all movies, and a movie has to really stink for me to dislike it. My favorites are: Fiddler On The Roof, The Hunt For Red October, Enemy At The Gates, Dr. Zhivago (noticing a theme? :), it's not entirely intentional), The Sound of Music, Evita, Thirteen Days, The Lost City, Amazing Grace (musicals and/or historical movies), V for Vendetta (awesome!), Man of the Year, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, the entire Tyler Perry series, Cheech & Chong's Up In Smoke, Cheech & Chong's Next Movie, Lion King 1 1/2 (it's juvenile but funny), and the Star Wars series, among others.

What's the funniest thing that's happened to you recently?
I had just left the Hofbräu Beer Hall and I was staggering happily down Lincoln Road singing Das Lied der Deutschen to myself (all 3 verses), and I noticed that a group of Jews had gotten a bit ahead of me, so I stopped singing, lost them, and started singing it again :) By the way, in its correct context, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the first verse.
Which TV commercials annoy you most?
the "I am man" commercials from Burger King, and I'd like to see the Geico lizard get carried off by a cat or bird of prey :)
Would you travel to Cuba?
NO F***ING WAY!!!!!! Tourism revenues combined with the paradoxical inflow of remittances from Miami have served to boost and stabilize the satanic Castro regime for years and undermine the embargo, and I will have no part in it!
What do you think of Metropolitan Miami-Dade County?
Screw Metro!! It's rotten to the core, and I don't see any great benefits in preserving it. I say incorporate the rest of it, and long live the municipalities!! The best government is that which is closest to the people.
What do you think of government?
Very little good comes of it, and the less of it the better. (Spoken like a true minarchist (conservative) (Liberal) ) That's right, I'm reclaiming the term for the right as opposed to the socialist left.
What is the ROOT of the threat of terrorism?
American interventionist foreign policy
What is your favorite Old Cuban political party?
Partido del Pueblo Cubano ("Ortodoxo") (Eduardo Chibás)
What is your favorite historical Russian political party?
Union of October 17 ("Octobrist") (liberal constitutional monarchist)
Who is to blame for the failure of the Weimar republic, the rise of Hitler, and World War II?
The guilty parties are French Prime Minister Georges Clemenceau and British Prime Minister David Lloyd George (Treaty of Versailles). For the record, the Germans were absolutely right in blowing off Versailles, restoring their armed forces to not being a joke, and reclaiming German territory that was stolen or dismembered from the Deutsches Reich by Versailles. It is, however, an absolute tragedy that it took Nazism to do it, and that it didn't end with that.
Kennedy assassination:
Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone. It makes sense, there's sufficient evidence to back it up, and the conspiracy theories don't hold up in my opinion.
What are the strangest things you have been while dreaming?
a Labour backbencher in the House of Commons, a Russian Orthodox priest, and an aspiring liberal politician somewhere in eastern Europe in the early 90s.
Who did you vote for in the 2004 presidential election?
Michael Peroutka (Constitution Party)
Who did you vote for in the last election for Hialeah mayor?
Phil Secada
Who did you vote for in the 2006 elections?
not a single Republican (out of spite, and in accordance with my anti-Republican policy and sentiments)
Who will you vote for in 2008?
the Constitution Party candidate and not a single Republican
Who do you believe will be the next President?
Hillary Clinton (Realistically, Obama doesn't stand a chance, and the Republicans are toast no matter who they nominate.)
What is your favorite alcoholic beverage?
beer
What is your favorite type of beer?
Weissbier (wheat beer) (Weißbier in REAL German and translated literally as "white beer")
The Iraq War is:
a lost cause that was unnecessary from the beginning and premised on a lie. Let's just cut our losses by helping to facilitate a somewhat amicable breakup of Iraq, and get the hell out.
Where were your parents born?
MOM: Guanabacoa, Provincia de La Habana, Cuba / DAD: Cleveland, Ohio, U.S.A.
Do you have any ancestors that fought in the Civil War?
Yes, my dad's mom's dad's dad's dad (great-great-great-grandfather), named Isaac Cunningham, fought on the Union side in the 14th Maine Infantry Regiment. Before that, he fought in the Mexican War.
What are your thoughts on the Civil War?
The southern states had every right to secede (and still do). However, in retrospect, it was best that the north won. As for nowadays, long live states' rights and state sovereignty, and death to mock federalism and trends toward unitarism!!!
What is your opinion on alternative energy?
100% in favor of it. I also support the reintroduction of electric cars (watch the movie "Who Killed the Electric Car?"). I'm an eco-friendly and farsighted conservative, and no friend of the oil industry.
When did your mom come here from Cuba?
She came in 1962 at the age of 3 (almost 4) with my then 9 month old aunt and my great-grandparents on my grandmother's side. They were among the first Cubans in Hialeah (before we took it over! :) )
Which country has the most beautiful national anthem?
Hungary (the Netherlands, Argentina, Germany, and the former U.S.S.R. are up there, though)
Should abortion be re-criminalized?
100% yes!!! Life begins at conception, and it's a child, not a choice. If you are determined to murder your baby, prepare to risk dying yourself. As a supporter of capital punishment for murder, I have no qualms with that.
What are your goals in life?
To find my niche, get married, have kids, and fall into a comfortable routine. Oh, yes, and save the world (at least America, and at the very least, Florida).
Transylvania is:
Hungarian
The Falklands are:
British (They have long been a British territory, and are inhabited by proud Britons who wish to remain British subjects. The Argentine invasion that started the Falklands War (1982) was just a distraction by the military dictatorship that ruled Argentina at the time that was meant to divert people's attention away from their own incompetence, mistakenly believing that Mrs. Thatcher wouldn't fight back. LOL!!! The status quo will go on indefinitely.)
Should the courts be beaten back into their constitutional roles and powers?
Yes, because the courts were never supposed to become as powerful as they are, and because the courts have over the decades served as a vehicle for militant social subersives such as hardened baby killers, militant atheists, etc. to impose their will and re-engineer society over the objections of the majority and allegedly over the head of Congress, in which those ideas would never have flown. The real blame goes to Christians for sitting back quietly while these things came about and tacitly accepting court rulings as law, thus setting the stage for a longer & more difficult showdown in the future to undo decades' worth of damage to society by runaway courts.
Do you have any political ambitions?
Yes, I plan to run for State Representative from my home district within the next 10 years. I would fight to gut the state from the inside, to restore usurped sovereignty to the state and to the people, to devolve authority from Tallahassee to the counties and municipalities, to lower taxes, to cut spending, to distribute Florida's Electoral College votes proportionally, and to cut business out of government and return government to its rightful owners -- the people.
What is your favorite Easter candy?
Cadbury Creme Egg
Which British patriotic songs do you know in their entirety?
God Save the Queen, Rule Britannia, Land of Hope and Glory, and Jerusalem
Is separation of Church and state in the U.S. Constitution?
There is no such language in the Constitution, nor would the founders have conceived such an idea! The 1st Amendment, which is intentionally misinterpreted by revisionist activists, simply forbids Congress from establishing a federal state church, and does not even forbid the states from having established churches!
What do you think of Fraktur script?
I love it! It's so cool and so German!
If you were President, where would you take foreign policy?
I would restore America's traditional inward-looking, non-aggressive, non-interventionist, non-imperialist foreign policy (the good old days). I would also decommission all American military bases abroad (which have been obsolete since the end of the Cold War, and America doesn't need the capacity to project power anywhere in the world at a moment's notice because we aren't the world's guardian) and recommission closed bases here in America (and keep the military at its current strength). I would stop sending U.S. tax dollars abroad. I would jealously guard America's sovereignty and respect the sovereignty of America's peers, especially given that, historically, whenever the U.S. has injected itself into the domestic affairs of other countries (overtly or covertly) for its own selfish reasons, more often than not we've only made things alot worse for both that country and for ourselves (ex. Cuba, Iran, etc.). This foreign policy would not provoke terrorism, and, in fact, it would eliminate the threat and allow us to live happily and in peace like we were supposed to after the end of the Cold War, until Bush Sr. created America's new (current) role in the world.
Should the burning of the American flag be protected as "free speech"?
HELL NO!!! People who desecrate the flag should be prosecuted! I'm also offended by the display of American flags that are tattered and/or that have excessive wear.
The world was created:
in six days by God (Jehovah, the Judeo-Christian God, and the one and only God)
What schools did you attend?
Dade Christian School (5K-3rd), Miami Lakes Christian Academy (4th-8th), and First Baptist School (9th-12th)
What is your favorite brand of malta?
Hatuey
Is the legitimate Havana Club the one made by Bacardi with the original recipe or the one made by the Cuban government in conjunction with an amoral French company, who have no claim to it?
the one made by Bacardi, which bought the rights and recipe from the original owners
Was your grandfather involved in counterrevolutionary activities in Cuba?
Yes he was, and he had some close calls at work and such. One day he was passing out anti-Castro literature, and when he was driving with my grandmother, mom, and aunt in the car, he was pulled over by the police. My grandmother quickly stuffed it all into my aunt's diaper bag, and thank God that the lowlife Castroite scumbag didn't think to search the diaper bag. After that, my grandmother made him give that stuff up because he would be more useful to the family out of jail than in jail. Anyway, I am extremely proud of my grandfather for fighting to save Old Cuba by bravely fighting against the advent of New Cuba.
What are your feelings toward cars having their pictures taken when going through a toll booth?
alarmed and outraged. I'm also alarmed and outraged by the existence of surveillance cameras by public roadways. Law enforcement is not THAT important. I'm also strongly against the "Patriot" Act and all other trappings of a police state in the making (better safe than sorry).
Federal guidelines for state driver's licences are:
unconstitutional, illegal, and illegitimate.
Does the federal government have any jurisdiction over drugs?
The federal government does NOT have the authority to ban ANYTHING. All it has the power to do is prohibit its importation from abroad and regulate its trade between the states to the best of its ability. The states should disregard federal drug laws and draw up their own, and formally discontinue recognition of the DEA out of principle. (not that I like drugs, just out of principle)
What kind of car would you never own?
I pledged to myself that I would never own anything manufactured by General Motors. Remember Poletown! Okay, I was seduced by the Aveo, but at least it wasn't built in Detroit!
Eminent domain is:
very, very wrong, and a violation of private property.
U.S. Customary System ("English") or Metric system?
U.S. Customary System!! Metric is un-American, I don't care for it, and I don't understand it (or care to).
Fahrenheit or Celsius?
Fahrenheit!! Celsius is un-American, I don't care for it, and I don't understand it (or care to).
