For members and associates of LP after school there was music class. Originally known as ‘Block 6’ the Low Pros have come along way from rappin’ and tappin’ in Mom Duke’s basement. Up to date LP has been blessed enough to have hit the streets with a summer time mix tape and a countless amount of live performances. Reigning from Toronto’s west end, Vibes began writing tracks and Jae Fresh began composing beats in their early teenage years. In high school both cats excelled in composing and playing music, and it’s their extensive musical backgrounds that have contributed to the melodies they are able to create. The foundation of what makes Jae and Vibes so much alike, combined with their individual identities, has created an original sound for LP demanding the attention of kids, adults, Lawyers and their clients. LP is currently working independently to put out another collection of tracks expected to hit the streets summer 09. Mixed with a little bit of neo-soul, alternative and hip-hop, the LP crew is definitively representing for all of T-Dots music heads.
