Roberto Testini nasce nel 1962 a Milano, imbraccia la sua prima chitarra, regalata dal padre, a 15 anni e gia' alla fine degli anni 70 si occupa professionalmente di musica. Approfondisce gli studi di chitarra con il maestro Ivo Meletti e consegue l’attestato di direttore d’orchestra jazz con il maestro Filippo Dacco'.
Chitarrista e cantante, ha sempre seguito le sue grandi passioni musicali, il blues e il rock latino.
Ha girato in lungo e in largo, prima l’Italia e poi l’Europa, all’inizio come side-man e, in seguito, come interprete della propria musica.
Verso la meta'. degli anni 80 hanno inizio le sue collaborazioni con artisti americani, in tour e in studio di registrazione: Luther Allison, Oliver Sain, Walter Liniger, Teddy Riley, Willie Littlefield, Jimmy Witherspoon, Barbara Carr, Buddy Miles, Walter Wolfman Washington, Janice Harrington, Lillian Boutt.., Earl Conway, Ronnie Jones, Arthur Miles, Nathaniel Peterson. Significative le collaborazioni con artisti italiani: Fabio Treves, Aida Cooper, Paolo Rossi, Vince Tempera. Altrettanto prestigiose le jam session con: Jeff Healy, Slash, Alex Britti, Carlos Santana, Sister Sledge, Romano Mussolini, Bernardo Lanzetti.
Conduttore della prima trasmissione televisiva italiana interamente dedicata al blues “NON BLUES ULTRAâ€, ideata e prodotta in collaborazione con il regista Dario Barezzi.
Attore in una sit-com, prodotta dalla Merlino Produzioni, per lo spot pubblicitario della compagnia assicurativa MAECI.
Ha partecipato alla realizzazione del musical “DANCE TRAINâ€, diretto dal maestro Vince Tempera e ha realizzato e prodotto lo spettacolo musicale “LAST CALLâ€.
