Greetings.....My name is Jayme...I am a graduate of Social Work at OSU, I am a nature nut, current affairs Junkie, and community organizer. I have spent most of my twenties focusing on school.. Academia ruled my life....spending most of my time coordinating events and rallies, doing school work, or at my Internship at Camp Mary Orton as a Wilderness Adventure Therapist. After graduating at the top of my class at OSU I needed a break. So, I spent summer and fall learning to lose control and truly be free. I was homeless and jobless, and loved every minute of it!!
I slowly made it back into the "real" world with my first real job working with Tad Dritz and Green Columbus.... assisting in the planning of green drinks and Columbus's Earth Day Celebration.
In May of 2008 I was offered my dream job as as Develpoment Coordinator for Simply Living, my favorite local non-profit. I am charge of all fundraising, budgeting, marketing and event planning for Simply Living as well for our new project WCRS 98.3 and 102.1 FM community radio. Simply Living and WCRS both have myspace pages..so check them out!!
I am up for almost anything, and love meeting new progressive people.
