I first realized I wanted to be a make-up artist after watching the movie Thirteen Ghosts. The movie itself wasn't that good, but at the time I was amazed by the makeup effects. I felt it would be the best way for me to express my creativity. I moved to Los Angeles a year and a half ago to go to Make-up Designory (MUD) in Burbank. There I completed the Master Makeup Artistry Program which included Beauty, Character, and Special Effects classes. It was probably the most fun I've ever had. I enjoyed every minute of it. From the beginning I've always been drawn more to the special effects aspect of makeup, it's more of a challenge for me and I feel it leaves more room for creativity and imagination. Ive always felt that you have found the right career for you when you can go to work and have fun, and it doesn't really feel like work because you enjoy what you're doing.That's how I feel every time I apply make-up.
