Hi there! My name is Dan, I live in Auckland NZ. I moved to New Zealand 10 years ago, and fell in love with the place. It's clean, green, nuclear free, and doesn't pander to George Dubya. What more could you ask for?
I run a company called Relapse. Check out the website over on the left to see what we do. Lots of aerial filming and music related stuff.....I figure that if you just concentrate on what you enjoy, you do good work. Most fun job lately was filming the lahar at Mt Ruapehu for TV3...check out the vid below!
More music will be added here as it gets made....usually its guitar based stuff but I've been drinking way too much coffee and messing around with dance music and techno sample programming lately. I'm keen to start adding heavy guitars to this style of music...I'm going to call it glowstick rock! If you're wondering why I added you or who I am, most likely I've added you from our other page (Stardrunk). Couldn't really load the techno stuff on that page could I?!?!? What would the other lads say!!!! Dont worry, I still crank my Marshall to infinity and try to invent crazy riffs regularly.
At the moment, working on images for Neesh and Take The Willing, a couple of awesome video projects with Helicam, a new video for Aaron Saxon, two top secret heavy metal videos (strap yourselves in for those!) and also rocking out with my mates Eug, Nick Dawg and TK Pounds in the band Five O'Clock Shadow. I wanted to call the band Al Qaeda and the Axis of Evil.....but apparently nobody would have booked us! Oh yeah, just in case you didn't know...9/11 was an inside job. This is a promo video our company made for Pacific Aerospace Limited. They make a plane called the PAC 750XL...it's the only purpose built skydive aircraft in the world...was such a fun job! I've done a couple of jumps before but doing this job has convinced me to go and get my full ticket. Stay tuned! UPDATE-I'm getting my skydive licence! Taupo Tandem Skydive have given me an awesome deal! Thank you TTS! Thank you!
This is aerial footage that we were hired to get with Helicam by TV3. The Queen Mary 2 is the largest passenger ship in the world...EVER! Anyway, they only used about 15 seconds of it on the news so here is an edit we've thrown together to the music of M.Ward. Go and buy all his albums, he is awesome!

Take The Willing's new video that we made! This was great fun too, I spend most of my time trying to make nice pretty helicopter videos for real estate companies or the news etc. They have to look all stable and easy on the eye. So it was an absolute relief to make this twisted sickeningly wobbly video. Thank god for TTW and getting this outta my system. Big ups to the scarecrow for helping on the edit and for the grade....uber cool. Party on Garth!
