My name's Denise.
I'm interested in anything that involves good company. If I'm by myself, I'm watching tv/movies, reading, or sleeping... and my favorite food is cheese.

What Your Soul Really Looks Like
You are a warm hearted and open minded person. It's easy for you to forgive and forget.
You are a grounded person, but you also leave room for imagination and dreams. Your feet may be on the ground, but your head is in the clouds.
You see yourself with pretty objective eyes. How you view yourself is almost exactly how other people view you.
Your near future is calm, relaxing, and pretty much what you want. And it's something you've been anticipating for a while now.
For you, love is all about caring and comfort. You couldn't fall in love with someone you didn't trust.
Inside the Room of Your Soul
Anybody or Nobody. Really, I just set this page up as another way to keep in contact with my folks. But if I used to know you, and you feel like knowing me again, you're welcome to hit me up as well. If you're brand new to me, but have a feeling that we'd REALLY REALLY like each other, roll the dice. Just know that's not why I'm here.
Also, please don't send me a friend request without a message. IF YOU DON'T HAVE SHIT TO SAY, WHAT'S THE POINT?
Pretty much anything that's not a bunch of nonsense or overly noisy. I like strong melodic voices, thoughtful songwriting, and a lush or sparse instrumental. Pretty much, the whole package. A tight beat by itself isn't gonna do it.
Sia - Breathe Me
Kelis - Get Along With You
Raphael Saddiq - Still Ray
Aaliyah - At Your Best (You Are Love)
Something thought-provoking, but not sappy. Visually compelling. A twist is always good. Or, just ridiculously silly works for me, too.

There are many many people I admire, whose tenacity and courage to stand up for what's right provide an example I'm compelled to follow. But, since I can never know these people's private lives and thoughts, I hesitate to call them my heroes. So instead, I aspire to be a woman that the little girl I used to be would've been happy to become. I look at old pictures to remind myself what a great kid I once was, as my own personal inspiration to also be a great adult.
