Dwayne Newby stage name Rollie, was born in spanish Town jamaica on 23,march,1985 grew up with his grandparents,an other relatives at Feather Bed Lane Spanish Town. Going to primary school he was totally oblivious to the fact that he would be an artiste, he was always a music fan but being a musician was'nt on his mind his career choice at the time was to be a mechanical engineer. he use to memorize songs of various reggae and dancehall artistes such as Bob Marley, John Holt, Beres Hammond,Bounty Killer,Shabba Ranks, Beenie Man, Buju Banton an many more. Going to high school he slowly developed his song writing skill, at grade nine he was surprising many with his lyrical compositions, at lunchtime his friends would beat the class desks and he would flow to the rhythm, eventually he started going to near by studio's where he would do demo's and listen for improvement purposes, he then started to venture his talent by going to studio's in Kingston, but time was limited having school at hand, after graduating he then gained more time to focus on his musical career. since then he has being trying to get the big BREAK THROUGH recording with record labels such as brukk out production, heart of love, payday music and many more, he has gotten stronger both mentally and physically facing dissappointments as an unsigned young aspiring artiste.HE IS CONFIDENT AND READY FOR THE WORLD.
