Music, belly dancing, photography, art, theater, movies, music, cooking and baking, and just having a great time with the people who mean the most to me in my life.
People who aren't afraid to be themselves. People who aren't afraid to laugh out loud. People who prefer their lives to be free of drama. People who can sit down and have a conversation with you that might actually make you stop and really think. People who won't take advantage of my kindness. People who accept me for who I am. And people I can learn things from and who are willing to learn things from me as well.
They say the music soothes the savage soul. I am a true believer of the statement. I enjoy most kinds of music. I can honestly say I have never heard anything I didn't like. And I love it when someone can show me something new. Tool is freakin awesome. Best music on the face of the earth. Oh and anyone who hasn't checked out Lost History...totally should. It's pretty kick ass.
I like most movies...but just for shits and giggles heres a list of some really great ones. Wouldn't be myspace with out it man... The Breakfast Club, Garden State, Spanglish, The Pursuit of Happyness, Grandma's Boy, Juno, Lars and the Real Girl, Breakfast at Tiffanys, The Holiday, Along Came Polly, 50 First Dates, Borat, Grease, Knocked Up, Sweeney Tod, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Waiting, You me and Dupree, Click, Cinderella Man, Harold and Kumar go to White Castle...and I'm sure I could name a hundred others....but you know, whatever.
Thanks to this one guy I know...I'm now addicted to Lost. It's amazing. Always been a fan of Family Guy, South Park, The Simpsons...you know, the typical stuff that anyone else my age would say they like to watch. I Love Lucy is a classic that I will always and forever love! The classic Nick at Night crap like The Mary Tyler Moore show, Dick Van Dike, Mr. Ed, Bewitched...all great shows. The whole Adult Swim line up is pretty kick ass too.
To Kill a Mockingbird, Choke, Diary, The Killing Game, Anything written by Edgar Allen Poe, and cook books :).
There are many people in this world that deserve the title of "hero". Some I know...some I will never get the chance to meet. My sister is one of the strongest people I know, although she would never say so about herself. She is a great mom, and an amazing role model. My best friend is an incredibly brave person who never seems afraid to be himself. And then there are the typical responses, such as Gandhi, Martin Luther King, Superman :), etc....
