We have a new myspace page! Only temporary untill we get a professional one done, but it'll do! We also have news of a couple of possible gigs coming up for february so keep your eyes peeled! x
We are Three Times Over, a four piece punk pop/rock band from Southampton. Formed in March 2007, we have produced a number of songs and have gone on to record two cd's.
At the start of 2008 we recorded our E.P at Shelter Studios in Southampton, some of the songs you can hear on the profile are from it. We class ourselves primarily as rock/pop punk, however try to vary our style of music as much as possible.
We are made up of Mike (Guitar and Vocals) James (Bass and Vocals) Dan (Drums) and Matt (Keyboard). We have played all around Southampton and Winchester including playing at The Brook. We have played with alot of different bands such as Green-ish Day (Europes No. 1 Tribute to Greenday), Army of Freshmen and many more popular bands.
We have 2 Cd's out, our demo 'A New Beginning' with our very first tracks on there and then we have our Self Titled EP which contains 8 of our tracks.
In late 2008 Matt Lemon joined the band, after playing in a few of our tracks he now is a regular feature in the band. He adds a new dimension to our music and many people have commented the addition of his piano creates a fuller sound.
During the latter part of 2009 we started to write some much needed new material, which has been really well recieved when played at recent gigs. We believe we have now moved on to create a different sound to our older stuff, and can't wait to show it to you guys.
During the 3 years we've been together, we've had to face some difficult times. The most recent being at our gig at the Brook in January, Franklin got stuck in France due to the snow and within 24 hours we had to re-write a new acoustic set (one of the songs is posted just below) which was really well recived and we had a brilliant night.
Moving into 2010 our aim for the first part of the year is to get our new EP recorded for the new songs, and get a release launch done at the beginning of May, in between playing other gigs!
