(I am not very good at king of the mountain. I HAVE A DISABILITY, dammit!)Currently having a delayed adolescence...still living the college life--or at least, getting paid like it. I live off of macaroni and cheese, Mt. Dew, and Spiderman vitamins. I hate mayonnaise. I watch football but care about politics. Maybe that should be "and", not "but." I have become a big hockey fan of late. I think pop culture provides fodder for intellectual discussions, and I can make "Newlyweds: Nick and Jesssica" about Marx and social class revolution. I annoy my friends by saying "________(fill in the blank) is a social construction." I debate passionately, sometimes too passionately, particularly when it involves politics. I hope I have my head in a book but don't live in the ivory tower. That's a fancy way of saying I am an intellectual, but not an intellectual snob. I get too emotionally involved in almost EVERYthing in my life. I overanalyze everything (particularly friendships and relationships). I am self-reflective to the point of neurotic. I play trivia competitively, and often get overruled on sports questions even when I'm right (EVEN when it involves Red Sox trivia). But, I deserve it, as I once got a question wrong when the answer was, essentially, my Master's thesis. I also get really excited when the trivia question is about Marx, though I'll most likely get that wrong too. Singapore is the smallest independent nation in Asia, in case you were wondering. And the first World Series was in 1903. I stay up very very late and I sleep in all morning. Don't ever call me before 11 AM. I am a thread-count snob when it comes to sheets, and my bed is the most comfortable bed in Atlanta--ask around. I think the only way to listen to music is loud, and I hear all the subtleties. Most of the time no one else gets me. It's ok though. I guess no one really gets each other anyway.
