all art, esp. music, photography, music, performance, music.
yes, yes, this is the one i want to answer... most all electronica (esp. abstract) + dance (house, neu jazz...), any jazz that isn't smooth, classical music, you know, all that early stuff that you wouldn't listen to, and just plain noise. nothing hurts more than no sound at all.
amelie, tron, casablanca, city of lost children, thx-1138, blazing saddles, brazil, 2001, any chaplin, keaton or louise brooks (kind of a contradiction that the noise freak would like silent films, eh?)
it's just noise to keep me company
penguin dreams, green eggs and ham, film posters of the russian avant-guard, any book on design. as bad as it may sound, i'm not going to take the time to read someone elses story when i still have mine to live.
willy wonka knew that, we are the music makers, and we are the dreamers of dreams. i think, that puts him up there.
