Bayzk Electrik (born Jonas K.) was born in the year 1977 in a town near Milan (Italy),but of Eritrean origin. Bayzk was first introduced to Hip Hop in the local parks of his area in the early 90’s.He was inspaired by groups like Public Enemy,LL cool J,Run Dmc and Krs one etc.Bayzk started to write his first lyrics and lovin’the art of MCing in the year 1994, in the same year he met different members of a crew named M.E.G (Milano Est Gang) that included mcs,writers,and music producers one of these was Cliff with which we became tight friends.In the year 1995 Bayzk hooked up and joined a crew called F.T.N. that included music producers, mcs, djs and writers such as Zelo 133, Capto 11, Cool Emi and becoming part of it as an Mc, Dj and sometimes writer with the tag Bazik.
One year later Bayzk met music producers like Label and Atomic of Cattiva Luna Produzioni and started crazy collaboration so that we created my first Track called “In mad days we’re livingâ€.
For different reasons Bayzk stopped the contact with them and started to make his own beats, singing on them and Djing in area clubs.In the year 2008 Bayzk made a collaboration with the Hall of Famerz of Nyc and created the mix of Hof’s “I who have nothing†and is looking forward to continuing that legacy in the future.Recently Bayzk created and took on the persona of “Electrik†because he is feeling what he does just like electricity. Through 15teen years in the Hip Hop culture Bayzk established himself as a multitalented, multifaceted artist.
