Independent record producer & studio owner operating out of Chamber Studio in central Edinburgh , Scotland.Began the studio in 1986 after 10 years playing guitar and singing in 2 professional bands.The first band were called the Monos ( later to become the Solos ) due to a name clash with an English band. The Solos signed a deal with EMI which saw the release of one 7" EP and a nationwide tour with the Tourists ( annie lennox / Dave Stewart of Eurythmics fame )The next group were called the Persian rugs a three piece early 80's stab at indie pop. The rugs had 3 single releases and an album before they too called it a day. One of the highlights of being in this band was working closely with Robert Bell and Paul Moore of the Blue Nile. Robert producing and Paul playing keyboards.Eventually money had to be made which is when the studio began.
