Days of Awe [Formerly Antietam]

About Me

We were Antietam, but just changed our name to Days of Awe
As Members of the hardcore scene and this community, we are extremely aware of what makes us unique and capable of greatness. We pride ourselves on loyalty and an ongoing awareness of injustice in the world around us. While we as individuals are hardly perfect we continue to strive to better ourselves and hopefully everything we touch. This is often perceived as nihilism or merely youthful aggression by outside eyes but we know better than that. We know being angry is not a passing phase. We know that hating the cruelty and apathy in the world around us is not a symptom of youth. We know that many times it seems like we are the only ones that stay true to our morals. We know what it feels like to be alone. This is a reflection of feeling like the only ones willing to cherish integrity. Whether as individuals or as a community, we are capable of being vigilantes in increasingly amoral times. This is our way of coping with the strains of being outnumbered and unsupported. Hopefully you can find solace in this too.
