Kelvin Antwaun Evans born in San Diego,California but raised in a small town called Marion in Alabama. He grew up listening to mostly blues but when his father took him to his first jazz concert at the age of 7 he immediately fell in love with it. Kelvin was introduce to the saxophone in 4th grade and never put it down. Him and his mom traveled alot since she was in the army and there he met alot of musician pro and non pro and learned great things. Now he is in the University of Missouri-St.louis Jazz Band under the director Jim Widner playing the Baritone saxophone. He is also in a gospel group called Kreative Soulz and he also plays with Khaotic Soulz a r&b/soul group. Eventhough he has no prefered saxophone the Tenor seems to be his favorite. Kelvin is out seeking not only to the be the best saxophonist he can be but to influence others to play music whether it be saxophone,keyboard,drums, etc.
