Ernie Wooden

Ernie Wooden is not the person who wanted to be a famous musician at 4 years old. Music found him. Although he didint begin singing untill he was 17, his musical taste and ear began with his parents. Singers like Luther, Anita, Barry, Prince, and Frank, were constantly heard. The arts alone found him by coencidence. Most of his youger years were spent playing orginized sports, untill a tryout for a middle school basketball team went wrong. Ernie got cut. (the team went undefeated by the way, so the cirsumstances didint involve him NOT being able to ball) The very next day the school had auditions for the school play. Ernie was given the lead and such began his artisic life. His music traning begain in band playing trumpet but, his true talent didint surface till he was almost out of high school. From being in plays ernie got interested in musicals, and began to listen to the showtunes. It took the passing of a loved one to get up and sing though. When his grandfather died he sang infront of a crowd and shook the room. As boys II men said " started singin and they said it sounded smooth," Ernie went with it and began life as a singer. As a singer Ernie found that he was getting more attention for his skill than in anything else he had ever done. He was getting the lead in musicals, he joined an accapella quartet and was playing gigs regularly in South Florida. After 3 years as a singer in South Florida, he moved to New York to attend theater school. His 2 years in school were also met with great success, and at 21 was set free from the education system. Ready to take on the music/theater world he met a mutual friend Micah Fitzgerald,a singer songwriter just getting his start. The two took off together forming the Ally Cats sparking his flame as a songwriter. While recording in brooklyn Ernie and Micah, met 2 gituar players, hit it off, and set off for columbus ohio to start a band. 8 months later Ernie was back in New York where he put together The Dizzy Band with alot of success and expectations. 2 years into the Dizzy Band it fell apart due to a lack of commitment. After 6 years of experiments with groups and Bands, Ernie is 25, and ready to rock the world the most promising way...Solo
