My name is Kristen but i go by many names. You can call me fluffy, Foo, Deryl, crispy, or even Captain cornstarch and sadly, i'll answer to each and every one. I'm 18 years old and an upcoming freshman at the "Beave" or better known as Penn State Beaver. In high school and out of high school alike i've been involved in many activities. In school i was a part of the musical every year. i was a part of Marching band as a lionette. (I twirled baton) I was a part of the concert band and Jazz band as a trumpet player. Band was pretty much my life. Outside of school however i still take karate. I started taking karate for my senior project. I'm going to be testing for my black belt here soon but right now i'm at brown. I've also been doing softball since i've been in 4th grade. I'm definately one that has worked her way up the ladder over the years playing this sport...all the way through elementary middle and the first year of high school i was put in the outfield because i could "run faster than everyone else". But i wanted a chance at something else . My sophmore year i started playing infield and doing a pretty good job at it. By my junior year i told my coaches that our star pitcher was leaving this year and even though we had around 3 others, i wanted to try to see if i can do it. Well it turns out that i can pitch pretty well so my senior year i was the starting pitcher. now however i get to start back at the bottom of the ladder. I am playing fastpitch softball for PSU now and i get to be the freshmen again. It's going to be great!
