About Me

Thanks for viewing our page!
Biography:
Are you sick of the fads that have been plaguing the music industry for the past couple years? We are.
Founded in February 2007 Random Tuesday is a band on a mission to bring a different style of music to the masses. Just a straight up rock band. That's it. No sub-genres needed.
2007 was a busy year for Random Tuesday, from their start in the early months, to winning Wild Oak Record's Battle of the Bands in November, Random Tuesday played shows from Sacramento to Orland, in venues of all types. Along with beginning the early recordings for their debut CD.
In 2008, Random Tuesday won the Wild Oak Records Battle of the Bands once again, becoming the only band to win two consecutive times. Random Tuesday released their full-length CD Baptized in Fire independently on August 22, 2008 to a sold out crowd at the CD Release show. Baptized in Fire features 9 original songs and artwork created by the band. It was recorded and mixed by Chris Keene of Surrogate. The recording and distribution was completely funded by Random Tuesday as a band.
In late September 2008, the Chico News & Review declared Random Tuesday the 2nd favorite local music act!
Random Tuesday has started their own production company, RT Productions, to help the All-Ages music going scene in, and around, the Chico area. Not many venues cater to all-age crowds any more.
Over the past year and a half, Random Tuesday has played over 50 shows, in some of the most well known venues in Northern California, and looks forward to hitting the road for a tour in Summer 2009!
Press Quotes:
"Random Tuesday, always a fan favorite, brought high-energy performance to a new extreme." - Jana Selig - The Saga Newspaper
"It was evident that many audience members wanted to see [Random Tuesday] as those standing in the front clapped along with the guitarist at the start of the performance. Random Tuesday's songs "Socio-apathy" and "Heart of Stone" were some of the catchiest up-tempo songs heard all night." - Sergy El-Morshedy - The Orion Newspaper
"Random Tuesday came back onstage and band members energized the whole room like they had been performing for years."
- Emily Whitehead - The Orion
