This disbanded group(formerly known as Exposing Janus) was concieved in 2003 by ZAQ Bell and Hamilton Chase Hargrove in White Settlement, TX. Without having any previous musical training, the pair, began embarking on, "a psychadelic noise free-for-all." Though extremely unorganized and inexperienced, these sessions laid the framework for more full and complete songwriting. By 2004, Bell and Hargrove were ready to attempt a full band assembly, and enlisted four mutual friend musicians. One of whom was guitarist Michal Kajtoch. Unfortunately, work schedules and conflicts of interest wouldn't hold the sextet together. In order to keep together the original founder's pressed on. ZAQ took over vocal work while Hargrove retained his seat as electronic wizard/pianist and original guitarist Michal Kajtoch decided to mix it up between bass and guitar. Thus creating the 3 piece line-up to this date. While being an unsigned act, the group began working with local Indie label, Fusion Records(July '06), (Bell,Hargrove and Kajtoch), now known as THE SHADOW, were appointed as the studio production team by owner Jarrett Vamavikidas. With ZAQ Bell taking the job as Executive Producer at the Fusion headquarters, 509 Braewick Drive Studios, The Shadow has thus spent countless hours recording and sampling.
When was the last time Fort Worth saw a band that had major buzz before playing even one show? The Burning Hotels did — and after their second show, the buzz got even bigger. It’s no wonder: The foursome, all in their early 20s, play with the heart and talent of bands twice their age. Singer/guitarist Chance Morgan attributes the hype to a combination of luck, hard work, and help from some big names in the Fort Worth music scene.

Warchild has been writing music since he was 8 years old. He started out writing poetry and gospel when he lived in Panama and moved back to the states and started getting more involved with hip hop and R&B. Warchild's first show was in Seoul, Korea in 2000. He has performed in numerous small time venues, but the one show that seems to stand out from the rest is the show he put on with his unit in Iraq, he single handedly planned and performed a concert.
