I'm not really 30, I'm just "stuck" there for as long as I can get by with it. I was born and raised a Kansas girl, went to Bible college and got my "MRS" degree when I married my husband Paul. He was a pastor for 24 years and we had been married 28 years when he died in October 2000. Life since then has been a real journey. My three amazing daughters kept me going on those days when I didn't want to go anymore. Randi, Mandi and Marki are God's gift to me and I couldn't be more proud of the amazing women they have become. They're great wives to their husbands and wonderful Moms! They've blessed me with 9 grandchildren - 3 of them adopted from Ethiopia.
In March 2007 I left the comfort of my family, friends and job in Branson, MO to begin a new life in Nashville, TN. I'm still not sure why God led me here, but I'm sure I am in the center of His will. I actually live in Franklin, TN, about 15 minutes from Nashville. It has that small town feeling with the perks of the city just a few miles away. I love my job working for an attorney and I've made some incredible friends here.
It's hard to sit down and describe myself but I guess I'd say I appear outgoing but I'm really basically shy. I don't think I have any enemies. If I do, I'm in denial. I'm a "people person," I make friends easily and I love being around them.
I do my best to be dependable, trustworthy, honorable and morally upright in all I do and say. My prayer is that God will use me as a witness of His love and compassion.
