The Kids:That's Stitch with his eyes open.We have a long history of guard, military and police duty, it is not surprising that the word “fierce†is often associated with me. But any Doberman friend will tell you the word “fierce†more accurately describes my loyalty and affection than my demeanor. I was bred to be an ideal companion, not just a guard dog. I am extremely playful and often bring tennis balls to PaM (my favorite toy, the ball not the human) while she is preoccupied with whatever else. Often, she will step out and throw it for me to fetch :)I am very loyal, faithful and loving to my family, wanting to be with them constantly and expecting to follow them everywhere (I can be a little clingy).An extremely intelligent soul, I can speak to you with just an expressive look. I will also quickly learn the routines of the home. Some refer to my kind as the dog with the human brain!Of course, I am a natural guard dog and am often protective, even overprotective of my family. This is primarily because of my intense loyalty, not viciousness. Most of us Dobermans seem to have an uncanny knack of knowing who is allowed in the house and who is not, and will welcome those welcomed by its owners.Beauty, brains, agility, and loyalty are often attributed to me. I am not a Weinmaraner and I am not Greyhound..stop ASKING.
