Scott, Adam David
Adam David Scott, age 18 of White Cloud, passed away Sunday morning following injuries he received in a bull riding accident at a rodeo in Burt , Michigan on Saturday evening.
Adam was born on April 11, 1984 in Big Rapids to Charles A. and Lori L. (Hepinstall) Scott and graduated from White Cloud High School in 2002 and was associated with the White Cloud United Methodist Church. He was an ironworker with the Ironworkers Union in Battle Creek , Michigan . Adam started his career in bull riding at the age of 8 and joined the Newaygo County 4-H Rodeo team at age 10. He later joined the National Little Britches Rodeo Association where he started riding Junior bulls and later moved to Senior bulls and currently riding in Open Bull Riding Rodeo events. Adam enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outdoors and spending time with his friends at the farm and was a member of the National Little Britches Rodeo Association.
He is survived by his parents, Chuck and Lori Scott of White Cloud; his brother, Justin Scott of White Cloud; maternal grandparents, Dave & Lois Hepinstall of White Cloud; paternal grandparents Dick & Carolyn Scott of New Port Richey, Florida; maternal great grandmother, Luella Reed of Luther, Michigan; special friend, Hilary Champion of White Cloud; several aunts, uncles and cousins and many friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2002 from the White Cloud High School with Rev. Jeff Bowman of the White Cloud United Methodist Church presiding with interment in the White Cloud Cemetery. Friends may consider the Adam D.
