I'M A HUGE NERD... History, Art, Music, my friends and family top my list. I can't stress the nerd thing more. I've got an old soul I've been told. I enjoy things that are old and have a life. Picking up a 60 year old piece of history and wondering, " what have you seen?" is right up my ally. I march just a bit out of step to most others, but... I've got an affinity for the soldier's life where everybody seems to be one... told ya I was strange. I am a WWII reenactor. 2nd Infantry Divison. They landed on D-Day +1 and fought through Europe. The divison is fighting in Afghanistan now. I'm also a STARWARS geek through and through. My friends and I have been known to dress up for a movie or two. I like the beer... it usually has to be Irish, English, or German to suit my tastes. New Castle, Guiness, Wexfor Irish Creme, Wallace, the list goes on and on... The creamy-er the better. Somehow I've procured a title for drinking my Irish Car Bombs extra fast, and people like to watch me do it. Damn my big 'ol gullet. You can also find me sipping on rum and cokes... It's the pirate in me. I have a mutant power: sticky hands. Sounds gross, but it's not. For some reason I can pick up coins off of a table w/ using only one finger. It's a favorite bar trick. I used to draw, sculpt and take pictures. I wish I had more time to get back into it. I miss being creative at times.

People that make me smile and respect them. You can be famous in my book and never set foot on a red carpet.

Movies:
I'll watch anything that keeps me interested. My favorites are the epics... Stories about the great themes. Love, Life, Conflict... ya get the picture.
Don't get me wrong though, I loves me a good dick and fart joke!
Television:
My tube time is spit between all the stuff my girlfriend calls the boring channels (History, Military, Discovery, A&E, ect.)... and all the other stuff that we watch together. Survivor, 24, Alias, O.C., Real World/ Road Rules Challenge.... Thank the Gods for TIVO.
Books:
My Library is getting bigger and bigger. Mostly Military History, but I've got a few feet of Art, Sci-Fi... well STARWARS at least..., Fiction ( Da Vinci Code and Angels & Demons), Some magazines of various subject.... And anything else that I can't seem to throw out, but haven't read in years.
Heroes:
Soldiers and veterans. Teachers. My Grandparents. My sister. They are legion. They make amazing things happen everyday.
