Gothic Metal kann so strahlend sein! Den Beweis liefern Coronatus mit ihren nicht weniger als zwei Frontfrauen. Die Musik ist sehr melodiös, beinhaltet gleichzeitig aber rhythmisch sehr ausgeprägte Gitarrenriffs, welche der Musik die nötige Härte verleihen. Dass die Ladies zudem mit völlig unterschiedlichen Stimmtypen ausgestattet sind, macht Coronatus unverwechselbar.

Coronatus sind seit Frühsommer 2007 bei MASSACRE RECORDS unter Vertrag. Die Veröffentlichung des Debut-Albums „Lux Noctis“ war am 21.09.2007. Aufgenommen und gemischt wurde es in der Klangschmiede von THE VISION BLEAK und veredelt durch ein Mastering im FINNVOX-Studio in Helsinki von MIKA JUSSILA ( NIGHTWISH , CHILDREN OF BODOM ...). Auszüge von „Lux Noctis“ waren auf diversen Samplern zu hören, so z.B. Gothic-Sampler 38 sowie Zillo Magazin Februar 2008.

Bisher haben Coronatus bereits mit Bands wie HAGGARD , MOONSORROW , WETO und WITHIN TEMPTATION gespielt. In Ungarn hatten Coronatus im November 2005 und Oktober 2007 bereits Samplerbeiträge im ungarischen Hammer-Magazin, sowie mehrere Auftritte, u.a. beim Gothica V-Festival in Budapest.
