Bernie Harris aka BeatBoy

Bernie Harris was born and raised in Brooklyn N.Y-Brownsville to be exact. Although originally an art student at Art & Design H.S in N.Y. Bernie had been writing kooky lil’ songs and recording them to his parents home entertainment system since he can remember (always after his cartoons though!).Though still a hobby, it wasn't until he paid a visit to the Sam Ash Music store in Manhattan NY-He was hooked! It was his second home until he could save up for his first musical instrument (the Yamaha DSR2000) a portable sequencer synth keyboard-It was on! Bernie’s producing bug bit him the first time he heard Teddy Riley’s “New Jack Swing Sound” It showed him that he can rock just as hot, and hit just as hard as any other artist or musician, and not have to sound anything like them. “To me, music like other forms of art is about expression” stated Bernie who also goes by the alias BeatBoy based on a character from a cartoon that he’s developing called Dragon City.
