Mike Payne born in the mid 80's to Ava Payne is a true phenom. At 20 years old Mike has been through alot and accomplished so much. Born in South Central, Los Angeles, Ca during the rise of crack cocaine and moved to Dayton, OH in the early 90's to one day became a city superstar. Mike was always musically enclined, he used to rap on cassette tapes by using one radio to play songs and another radio positioned wit the mic near the speaker of the other radio and he used to rap over all that noise determined to be heard. Mike taught himself all that he knows with the exception to the streets and the books. Mike is a very book smart and street smart individual due to going to a prodominantly white school practically his whole life and growing up in one of the roughest projects (Northcrest Gardens Apartments) in Dayton. Surrounded by sex, murder and mayhem how did Mike stay positive? Dedication, ambition, a strong black mother and most importantly faith in god. With his popularity with the females and being that Mike went to almost every public highschool in his city it made it easy for him to jump out there with his music. It all kinda jumped off when he made a remix to Khia's "Don'y Trust No Nigga" with Donald Walker. It took over the teen clubs in his area and soon he was doing local shows. Mike used his popularity to his adavantage and decided to throw a party and the whole city showed up and from there his success took off from there. The party thing became a weekly thing for Mike and that gave him the advantage of controling the crowd which made it easy to get his music out there. And now at 20 mike is a rapper, song writer, producer, ceo of his own independent record label and the number 1 promoter in his area and especially in the world of teen. He's been titled the "King Of Teen". He's really made his name as one of the hottest rappers in Ohio not just Dayton. With the recent success of his single " Big Wheels" with it's childish nursery rhyme hook which he wrote, produced and composed Mike is starting to really take off.
