Wet Dream

Dhera Dun Dhera Dun se forma en el año 2003 bajo el nombre de Speakeasy. De hecho bajo este último nombre es con el que han estado trabajando hasta el día 19 de noviembre de 2006. El grupo se ha planteado este cambio de nombre artístico justo antes de que por fín vaya a meterse en fábrica el que será su primer trabajo discográfico que saldrá en el mes de enero de 2007. La banda se planteó el cambio de nombre artístico debido a cuestiones de identificación artísitica. Dhera Dun procede del nombre de una ciudad situada en la región de Uttaranchal, al norte de la India y además es también el nombre de una canción de George Harrison. Los componentes de Dhera Dun son Roberto Terne (voz y guitarra), Fernando Delgado (bajo y coros), Jaime Delgado (guitarra y coros), Rosalía Martínez (teclados, bases, sitar) y Manuel López (batería). Durante este tiempo el grupo ha grabado tres sesiones en los estudios ODDS de Paco Loco. En cada una de ellas se refleja un rock psicodélico basado en los años más ácidos de Beatles, Pink Floyd, Negativos, Stone Roses y The Who entre otros. El grupo ha sonado bastante en programas de Radio 3 como Bulevar, Diario Pop y Flor de Pasión. Su tema "Órbita Química" forma parte del recopilatorio "La Revolución de los colores" editado por El Diablo y recopilado por Chema Rey. Dhera Dun bajo el nombre todavía de Speakeasy apareció en este recopilatorio al lado de Amaral, Sidonie, Bunbury, Deluxe, Cooper..... En septiembre de 2006 Dhera Dun grabaron nuevas canciones en los estudios ODDS de Paco Loco (Cádiz). Estos temas y otras cinco canciones antiguas formarán parte de un primer disco que se editará a primeros de abril de mano de Grabaciones en el Mar, mientras, podeis escuchar algunas de sus canciones en su myspace: http://www.myspace.com/dheradun Dhera Dun was formed in 2003 with the name Speakeasy. Hear some of their songs at: http://www.myspace.com/dheradun The Faith Keepers Comenzamos con el grupo en junio del 2005 bajo el nombre de Teenage Kicks, haciamos versiones de revival mod y nos lo tomabamos de otra manera. Ya mas en serio, actualmente y desde hace unos meses las cosas han cambiado. Ahora nos llamamos The Faith Keepers, nombre con el que nos sentimos muy identificamos ya que intentamos conservar ese espiritu, esa fe de los 60's y la energia del movimiento mod de los 80's. Se incorporo un nuevo componente, lo que fue un cambio muy grande en nuestro repertorio, nuestro sonido y nuestro estilo; la formacion actual somos, Borja Tellez(voz y armonica), Alvaro Suarez(guitarra y coros), Jorge Alvarez(bajo), Nacho Alvarez(organo y coros) y Esteban Bayona(bateria). En la lista de canciones se puede encontrar principalmente R&B, R'n'R negro, algun tema de soul y demas sonidos sixties influenciados por grupos como los Kingsmen, Small Faces, Mitch Ryder and The Detroit Wheels y artistas negros de los sesenta. Hemos actuado en innumerables veces en Zaragoza, nuestra ciudad, y en eventos como la Cierzada o el Aniversario Mod de Zaragoza. Una de nuestros ultimos conciertos fue el 9 de febrero en Madrid que junto con esta son las unicas veces que hemos tocado fuera. Por ahora no tenemos nada grabado ni editado ya que en Zaragoza es muy dificil que alguien te eche una mano aunque ya se ven futuros proyectos en breves. We started in June 2005 under the name Teenage Kicks. We played a lot of mod revival covers and we did it just for fun. Some months ago everything changed and now we take things seriously. Our current name is The Faith Keepers. We chose that name because it shows clearly our intentions: to keep the spirit and the faith of the 60's and the energy of the mod movement during the 80's. A new member joined the band and that was a big change for us: we started playing more and different songs, with a new sound and a new style. The Faith Keepers are: Borja (lead singer, mouth-harp), Alvaro (guitar, chorus), Jorge (bass guitar), Nacho (organ, chorus) and Esteban (drums). In our playlist mainly you'll find R&B, black R'nR, some Soul and other 60's sounds influenced by groups like The Kingsmen, Small Faces, Mitch Ryder & The Detroit Wheels and black artists from the 60's.We have played so many times in Zaragoza , our city, and in events like the Cierzada and the 20th Anniversary of Zaragoza's Mod movement. One of our last gigs was on 9 February in Madrid.Because it's so difficult to find a helping hand in our town, we have not recorded anything so far. Alex Cooper (León):

Poco se puede comentar sobre Alex que no se sepa ya. Es Historia viva del Modernismo en España y como músico un claro referente para muchos grupos de distintos estilos. Formó a los míticos Flechazos y actualmente sigue muy activo con su proyecto Cooper. Organizador durante un montón de años del Purple Weekend, editor de fanzines como el 'Pussycat', etc., etc. Como dj ha paseado sus discos a lo largo y ancho de toda la geografía española y europea. Tendremos el gran placer de disfrutar de sus magníficos sets y de su compañía en el próximo Wet Dream.It's difficult to tell something new about Alex. He is living History of spanish Modernism and as a musician, the clear reference for a lot of bands. He was founder member of Los Flechazos and he is keeps in active with his current project, Cooper. My interest in MOD/60’s scene began in late 90’s in the fall of britpop, being soon interested in “white” music and specially in late 60’s sounds which is the kind of stuff I like collecting. During my sets you can listen to freakbeat, popsike, garage psych and funk rock wether from UK, USA, Holland, Belgium, Spain, France or Germany. Nowadays I’m involved in a weekly radio program called “ALTA FIDELIDAD” and trying to spin records monthly under the name of L.S.D CLUB (www.myspace/lsdclub ) at Barbara Ann bar , here in Barcelona , both projects with my friend Alexandre Crespo.
