now hear this (NHT) was conceived by christopher michael and lucia owens. the idea was sprouted while reviewing photos covering entertainment events the two had attended over a period of months, and from the early success of publishing thiswayisout.com (TWIO), a blogsite featuring US national recording artist Venice Maki . the two began developing their business idea, officially organizing, and continued to expand their work on TWIO.
now hear this will be a multi-faceted grass-roots seeding & consulting company (i.e. - development, marketing, and promotions) that harnesses the power of word-of-mouth promotion, existing social networks and emerging technologies to help independent aspiring artists, filmmakers, entertainers and their counterparts make better use of these tools while fine-tuning development and direction, and bringing a new and expanded audience into the fold.
