About Me

Born Manila Philippines, raised in Montreal, Quebec Canada. My first reggae lps...Third World, Steel Pulse, Matumbi, Aswad and of course Bob Marley and The Wailers. Became interested in the dubbing aspect of reggae... I owned an old school mixing desk, TEAC 15, (24 x 8 x 2) and called the studio "ZERO TOLERANCE STUDIO"; recording on 8 tracks using the Fostex R8 1/4 tape recorder. Earlier projects were released as demos among them was IMPERIAL FORCE (ft. IBO of KINDRED BAND from Calgary). With the Fostex B16 recorder, I took on bigger projects recording demos for JO JO and KISH I BAND, CRASH (Nigerian multi instrumentalist) IBO and IMPERIAL FORCE, SILVERADO, KALI and DUB INC, JAH LE LE ft. ALBERT ADU-FOSU, MARCUS JEFFERS (poet)... Albert Adu-Fosu recorded AFUTU PA and SUFFER which were relesed in Ghana. HOTTER THAN CONGO PEPPER was a collaboration cd using sessions from Zero Tolerance Studio and HARDER SOUND (ANDREW HARDER). SINGER JUDAH and JAH CHILDREN BAND recorded MESSAGE FOR the WORLD. (visit their sites). Then ZERO TOLERANCE STUDIO became BAHAY KO STUDIO, a name change to reflect my Filipino heritage. (bahay ko is Pilipino which means my house) Vernon Maytone (The Mighty Maytones lead singer) recorded and mixed his cd RAW at BAHAY KO. I co-produced and programmed on this project with the proper guidance and input from Lynn Tait and Vernon Maytone, two living legends in rock-steady and rockers. I mix live shows sometimes. I toured in the SEYCHELLES 2x with Choices 1999 and Full Vibes 2001 as the mixing engineer and selector between sets. I dj ocassionally with MOSSMAN of DUB LOUNGE fame in some reggae clubs
