About Me

Undo performed Damien Rice's song Coconut Skins at Maribor's MC, Slovenia on 15th December 2007.

Undo was born in 2002 out of a cover band called 'Just in Case' - considering their first show was their last they could just as well have been called 'Hit and Miss' : ) Even though the band didn't last long, Mirna Stanic and Marko Vucelja found a musical chemistry that brought them back together early in 2005 to start a new band...Undo's early days marked the beginning of a period of cover songs and experimenting. Not long after Mirna began writing music to Marko's poetry, and that's when they discovered that playing their original music felt more comfortable. The duo performed Undo's first gig in December of 2005. It happened that Daniel Rodik approached Undo after the gig and asked if they needed a bass player. He was accepted and immediately decided to learn how to play the bass! (as a great guitar player it didn't take long) The band was nearly complete - but Mirna was on the search for a cello player...something she always felt would fit. It didn't take long before she was introduced to Ana Popovic in February 2006.The first gig as a foursome was in April of 2006 after only two months of practice. The gigs continued in May and June leading up to the band's appearance in July 2006 at one of the biggest music festivals in Europe, the Exit Festival in Novi Sad, Serbia. For the following year, the gigs kept coming and new music was created. Since Ana works as a model, the band time schedule didn't always fit and, unfortunately, she left the band in May of 2007.Things progressed and soon Undo was joined by the multi-talented, and very often the voice of reason, Mr Orlan Tus! What instrument does he play? We may never know! But we can tell you now...he's good...very good - we'll keep him : ) His contribution of the keyboard, flute, melodica, tambourine, backing vocals and sometimes the 'egg', has brought a new feeling to the band. The band has made appearances at some of Zagreb's most popular live music venues - Soba, Boogaloo, The Jazz Club and Purgeraj to name a few. Other gigs have taken place in Varazdin and Osijek, Croatia - as well as the previously mentioned Exit Festival in Serbia.Although the band has recorded their own demos twice in the past using home equipment, in November of 2007 they spent their first week in the studio and have their first studio demo to show.Have a listen, tell your friends, and let us know what you think!
