Aight...here you go. JFK is David Downey hails from Medford MA which is 5 miles north of Boston where he grew up rebellious as fuck. After high school he moved out to California by himself and ended up in Santa Rosa where he spent a few years and started making music. His travels took him to random places all over California including Venice, Pacific Grove, Roseville and currently Oakland so if you know him from one of those places...YES he is THAT David Downey. ------------------------------------------------------------ ---------------------------------------------His first cd LIVE FROM CAMELOT was released under the name JFK and produced by MrDisasta with beats from MrDisasta and DJ Plutoe aka Random Ran. You might have gotten this shit at a show somewhere and we guarantee it was for free. ------------------------------------------------------------ ---------------------------------------------The second release was LEGEND OF THE SON also released as JFK and produced by the same people. The focus was on a trilogy of sorts so David Downey could sharpen his shit up and learn everything he could about his craft. During this time you probably saw him taking the bus pissed off....oh yeah...you might have gotten a cd....for free. ------------------------------------------------------------ ---------------------------------------------His third cd I AM LEGEND also featured MrDisasta and Random Ran with additional tracks and production by DJ Capsize. This was the best cd by far and some of the tracks are featured here. This is the only cd of the trilogy that is still in print and if you have this cd there is a good chance you bought it from him but most likely you copped it for free. ------------------------------------------------------------ ---------------------------------------------If you haven't noticed JFK is David Downey doesn't give a fuck about making money with this shit. He doesn't really do it for the love entirely either if thats what your thinking. David Downey makes music because its an absolute fuckin neccesity in his life and the kid works a 9-6 so he's pissed off and needs to vent. This cd shows unprecedented maturity and wisdom from the MC and the beats, scratches and production from DJ Capsize are top-notch.
