How much do you think I can fit in this little box? I'm still interested in super-intellegent hamsters, vanilla lattes with 2% milk, retro rollerskates, unicorns, fairies, my dragon, ghosts (especially the one that I live with), making art, typography and all things design, going out to dinner, campfire cooking, art supplies, chocolate with liquor inside, gummy candies, laughing until someone pees, I'm obsessed with 1989 Nissan Stanza Wagons, Kinder Eggs, bowling, Lacey, Fleur and Jip, extending flip-flop season, drinking beer outside, dancing on speakers (with the right song--and shoes), flashlights, sleeping and dreaming, using power tools, tugboats, photography, adventures, driving in the mountains, artichokes, traveling, boys and girls of stylish inclinations but who would never be heard uttering the word "hipster." I also like my brother. And I miss him. And also secret passages, secret missions and secret passwords, but not people who tell secrets, unless they're talking about the password. Then it's ok. You could win my heart with pirate Legos.
Someone who can make me laugh better than I can make myself laugh. Also, someone who smells good and is smart but not a know-it-all. And someone who wants to build robots with me, and then make outfits for them and give them names like "Tennis Pro Alphie" and "Jock Strap Rash Alphie."
Wow, I needed to update this! I love all music, but this is what I'm listening to lately...As always, David Bowie. Our love is like a unicorn shitting hearts. I'm going to see Camera Obscura and Of Montreal next month. I recently discovered this awesome German band called Klee. They're great. I also love Pony Up!, Mew, Kings of Convenience, Bjork, Cat Power, Manitoba/Caribou, Amy Millan, Brazilian Girls, Devotchka, South, Elbow, Midlake, Mates of State, Tilly and the Wall, and popcorn. That last one isn't a band, I just really like popcorn.
Little Miss Sunshine, Elizabeth, Secretary, anything Wes Anderson or Christopher Guest, documentaries, and movies with really great soundtracks. That turned out to be a weird list. There are a lot more!

I spend a large percentage of my budget on magazines every month. My favorites are Flaunt, Nylon, Zink, and I also usually gravitate towards Beautiful/Decay, Seed, Blueprint (Martha Stewart's new one--incredible typography!), How, and Blackbook. I also love reading old issues of Raygun and Emigre. I love art school libraries. I just finished reading Margaret Atwood's Oryx and Crake--which is apocalyptically awesome--and Sarah Vowell's Assassination Vacation which if you like American History is really worth reading.
