For several years the band Joshua recorded and released post punk records with a true identity and signature all their own. After accumulating a modest fanbase and releasing 2 albums and several ep's, the band decided to call it quits in early 2002. Even still, the members of Joshua occasionally found time to collaborate, write and record. In 2008 Parrot On A Porch records will issue a rarities compilation of unreleased material, early demo's and other pieces that the band has left behind for their devoted fans to enjoy. The tracks span from the very first recordings of the band to three new songs that were written and recorded for a possible new album in 2005. Regardless, this is an essential release for all those who took the time to listen and experience this truly unique band.
