Sounds Like: Four honkeys in a basement, for the most part. We try and sound as much like ourselves as we possibly can, which usually sounds like four honkeys in a basement trying to sound like the Wailers, the Dead or Jane’s Addiction. Somewhere in the middle you get our sound as well as really, really drunk. There are four of us, so our sound is mostly Honkey in nature. While some might say "Hey, why don’t you guys get away from the whole Jam thing," there are others that say, "Well, there are four of them, and they do practice in a basement, not to mention the fact that there are four of them." Like for instance the other day I wanted to write this song called "Hells Cupcakes" It sounds like "Emotional Rescue" by The Rolling Stones crossed with "Psycho Killer" by The Talking Heads, when suddenly we realized that each of the bands that "Hells Cupcakes" sounds like has three words in their title while we only have one. Do the math, 3 words per influence X 2 influences = 6, MINUS 1 word (theHonkeys) = 5, and with five not being less than or equal to four (the aforementioned number of Honkeys), we had to stop playing the song which was convenient because while we were writing it we forgot how to play it.
