I'm a bleeding-heart liberal lesbian trans-positive feminist geek girl who reads way too many comic books and probably not nearly enough queer or feminist lit. I tend to be a pretty private person, not much of an activist, though I try to get involved in something or other here and there. I'm pro-gay rights, pro-trans rights, pro-gay marriage, pro-free religion and free speech and generally in favor of maximum rights and civil liberties for everyone. I'm proudest of the Irish part of my heritage and strongly prefer to identify solely as Irish, though I'm technically more of a Euromutt. I'm a major animal lover, particularly where cats and dogs are concerned -- I live with three cats, including my baby Snickerdoodle, the sweetest little calico on the whole planet; and I'd like to have a Sheltie or a golden retriever someday. I write songs but don't think much of my voice, I'm trying to teach myself to play guitar but should probably replace the broken string, I love web design but I'm still working mainly in HTML and JavaScript, and I'd love it if I was maybe twenty pounds lighter, three shoe sizes smaller and maybe one bra size bigger. I'm fairly absent-minded these days and have my head in the clouds a lot, but I'm perhaps slightly less neurotic than I was. I work in dead-end temp assignments that pay me crap, a fate I hope to escape very soon. I want to be a published writer one day. Or a respected filmmaker. Or the creator of a hit TV series. Or an astronaut. Or a superhero.
And that's pretty much it. The girl, the legend. For now.
Oh, yeah. And I hate the cold. And live in Boston. Come on, now, warmer days!
