This young man has quickly emerged into one of the most sought after bassist of his era. He has toured extensively all across the world and is only getting started. His ability to lay each and every groove with precise clarity and tasteful funk along with a smooth approach gives him a style and sound unlike no other.Born in Detroit, MI as Anthony Lamont Tolson, he began his musical journey at the age of eight learning to play the piano. Anthony played the piano for a while but felt he needed to explore more instruments to broaden his musical mind. Once he arrived to high school, he began to play the bass guitar, and that is where he found his musical love. It was a hard choice for Anthony deciding on which instrument to focus on as he learned to play the steel drum, trombone, and drums before he fell in love with the bass guitar. “The bass just feels right in my hands.” says t-nasty, “I still enjoy playing my steel drum and the piano but there is something about the bass that I’m addicted to.”Anthony’s artist experience includes: Lenny Williams, Shirley Murdock, Denise Williams(Grammy award winner), Keith Washington, Bill Moss, Fabolous, Christopher Williams, Regina Belle, Lin Rountree, Karen Clark Sheard, Michael Henderson & a host of Detroit’s finest talents. Anthony also has experienced performing his bass guitar & synth bass talents in the theater with such stage plays as: “Perilous Times,” “My Brother Marvin,” “Shackin’ Up,” and “Drama In The Shop.” Anthony is currently the bassist for gospel artist “Bill Moss” legendary female rappers & Grammy Award Winners "Salt-N-Pepa" and also plays for rap star “Fabolous”Anthony now endorsess Markbass Bass Amps.Anthony plays a Sadowsky Bass Guitar, Korg MS2000, & uses S.I.T.
