I'm a very simple guy and I thrive on the small things in life that bring the best to the plate. On myspace though i'm here to show off my work and maybe make a friend or two because lets face it, The people we have around us are the ones who shape who we are. I love to draw and though i am a bit out of practice i love doing comic strips and "Erk" is my best creation. It's a strip loosely based off f me and two good friends. One completely abrasive but trustworthy pothead and a good friend. The other character was a good friend of mine who was a jack of trades and a gentleman and a scholar who knew how to have fun and still stay grounded who passed away a few years ago. So besides showing the world a little bit about who i am it's a lil homage to my friends memory, "The ones we hold dear will never truly leave us." So yes by all means check out my rough drafts of comic strips which make up all my blog section pretty much besides the massive rants i have going in there. the comic is about Friendship, failed dating, politics, life, sarcasm and occasional fun poked out the the bad situations in life. See i like erk because it shows that life isn't always sunshiney even when it's comical. It's sarcasm and light moments and the little things that make you smile like a conversation with a good friend or moments you just sit and smile to yourself, and all those little moments come together to make the whole big picture.

..I remember when i joined myspace a couple of years ago mainly to promote the comic strips and such. I quickly found that you could meet people who actually wanted to chat and get to know you and i was like "Wow, this is a cool site". Nowadays it's grown shallow and cold and it effects peoples lives. Myspace has broken up relationships, Myspace makes people jealous, Myspace this and myspace that. Blah blah blah... It's always about the looks now or your color...It's about how many friends you have and how many you don't. Everyones so picky about what they want that they don't realize that maybe just maybe they could've made a good friend and it's sad really.I thought it was supposed to be a place for friends....Anyways i'm Eric and i'm not shallow ....but i will not add you if you don't send a message first lol. I'm a lover of smart, funny, open minded people. I'm a fan of drawing, reading, writing, and partying. I like being myself and anyone who's met me knows that i'm the same .. offline or on the phone. I have a tendency to be "TOO NICE" but i'm learning. I'm a good friend and you should take the time to find out because i guarantee you won't regret it.
