Welcome! My name is Michael Bowen and I have a question for you. Are you running the race? In reality we're all running towards some sort of goal in life such as paying off debt, being free of an addiction, or running toward some sort of self seeking ambition or temporary pleasure that fills that big gaping hole in our lives that never ever seems to get filled completely. Do you know why that hole does'nt get filled no matter how far you get in your race or how many awards you win? Because when you and I run like that were running backwards! The ultimate goal of the ultimate race that God is calling you and I to run is to completely and utterly surrender to Him and His unending love for us. Also running in His direction pursuing Him every day in every way. Running with Godly purpose in every step, running every step of the way by faith and running the race with everything we can with the purpose of running to win. Now when Jesus died on the cross the race (or battle)against satan was won so we're already winners but we still need to train ourselves daily by reading the living word of God and praying diligently and worshipping God in spirit and truth. Also I would like to point out that in the race there are those sitting in the bleachers (christians who are hearers but not doers of the word), people running towards the eternal prize (followers of christ who are running towards him), and people running backwards towards the starting line (people who run for temporary prizes that dont fill the whole in their life who just end up back where they started). Finally when we are running towards Jesus we are running towards the ultimate pursuit and the ultimate goal and when we run to Him we are running in complete freedom and towards endless possibilities. Would you like to live a life of endless possibilities? Would you like to start running in the right direction in pursuit the ultimate goal? I warn you living a life for Jesus is not a life for the faint of heart and it will not always be a life that brings good times but there will always be peace in the midst of whatever you face and what you suffer will be nothing compared to the glory revealed to you later. To claim this awesome life for yourself and eternally seal that God shaped hole in your life all you have to do is confess your sins to your father God in heaven and then consciously turn from them putting your complete faith in Jesus Christ making him not only your savior but also your Lord, He can no doubt save you and I from our spiritual disability that keeps us from having or pursuing a relationship with him but if we dont make him our Lord and give all areas of our life to him then that leaves the door open for the enemy of our soul to attack us and try to bring us down and it also means we are willing to allow him to save us but we arent fulling trusting him (faith and trust are the same thing ya know ;) ) It is my hope that what I said here has convicted and encouraged you and that you will come away from this page spiritually refreshed and eternally encouraged. MISSION: Running The R.A.C.E Ministries is a income free evangelistic, missionary, ministry, with the purpose of bridging the gap between the church and the spiritually disabled,and encouraging believers in Christ to not only start the race but to endure it to the end. Also we hope to encourage people to get up out of the bleachers and into the race by training, equipping, motivating, and sharing the love of Christ with all people so that they can in turn take it into there communities and the world. Break down strongholds through prayer and the word, preach hope world wide to all Gods creatures, and help where help is needed whenever it is needed. Finally, to change the world by the power of God Almighty in the name of Jesus Christ and to further Gods kingdom.
