"Panzer Talk present very low-key, sparely arranged, but cleanly produced indie pop/rock on their self-titled, five-song...debut release. There's a tentative, slightly melancholy fragility to the material, matched by the frail vocal delivery and girlish backup singing…nicely moody and only slightly downbeat. It's easy to imagine the songs being ruined by anthemic big-boom-style production — which, since this is often the fate that befalls such recordings, makes the relatively bare approach refreshing."
