Hello to everyone...how ya doin...if more people played music I believe that there would be much less violence and crime in the world....Music has always kept me down to earth and been a great friend....whose always there...so to speak... Ive been playin music all my life, I love most all musical expression, except for what I consider a poor or half assed performance..I stive to touch others with my music and my performances....
I started out on piano..I had a couple years of lessons...then got a trumpet in 4th grad...played in school band 4 years...after that ..I wanted drums but got a guitar instead..later I got my drum set and a tenor sax... .Ill leave out the personal track record of musical experiences...I have played with many types of bands...pop...rock....heavy metal...dance rock...dance pop...I also pick a little banjo...
Playing guitar and singing has always been my strong points...
Ive always considered singing to be the biggest challenge..because of the work involved in maintaining the voice..the willpower...and control of diet...though classical piano is pretty challenging except your diet dont have much to do with your ability to play.... I love the electric guitar and lead guitar solos...The sounds are incredible...clean acoustical...clean strat dirty strat....hollow body..solid body...tube sound...balls to the walls.. clean n sustaining...wonder where the guitar will be in a hundred years...???
At this stage of the game Most of my musical attention is spent on creating new musical ideas and crafting lyrics...Though Im still a fan and spend some time learning new cover tunes...The music business is changing..it will never be the same....
The style of writing Ive been pursuing recently has been focused on the song being able to stand on its own with just a vocal and one instrument...usually guitar..but I have written some on piano...
The songs take on different color when I start to add more instruments...but they do sound good alone with just vocal and guitar...as Ive left Goodbye bare boned......Im always working on new material....********

Influences: I have many influences..my influeneces of the songs Ive posted are obviously pop tunes...some of my favorite pieces of music are certain classical music compositions..Beethoven...Mendelssohn..Mozart....Bach... I believe the reason I have so many influences are the individual aspects of musical recordings ,studio and live performances..for instance the percussion track of a recording may be outstanding and thats what attracts me to that recording..same goes for any combination of instruments or single instrument and or vocal melody or vocal..harmonies etc...
