the story of EAT IT
1998
named after one of their first songs, â€œEAT ITâ€ was founded by b.long, t.tom and bassgott. in only one year they created about 20 songs, from ballads to blues to heavymetal, sometimes mixed with psychedelic and experimental sounds. after a lot of stage performances, they seperated in 1999 and subsequently released two cds called â€œcat crawling bluesâ€ and â€œbitches on heatâ€.

2001
a short reunion with b.long, bassgott and a variety of different drummers was not crowned by success.

after recording the cd â€œkillerâ€ in his own studio, b.long restarted "EAT IT" again with t.tom. not finding an adequate bassplayer, they decided to go on as a duo, drums, guitar and voice. lots of work was to do, to rearrange all songs for the new situation.

2005
"EAT IT" released its cd â€œone two threeâ€, again produced and arranged in the studio of b.long. on â€œone two threeâ€ HENSEN was guestvocalist on two songs. also in 2005 the dvd â€œlive at circusâ€ was released. playing a lot of stage shows like â€œstarnberg blues festivalâ€, "EAT IT" established their reputation as straight, clear rock and blues band.

2006
meeting hard groovin.., deeppunching b.base, "EAT IT" expanded into a real complete heavy rock and blues trio. Performing more than two hours on every show, "EAT IT" expanded their set also with acoustic songs. with a solid grooving rhythm section in his back, b.long now again has the space and freedom for his outrageous real hot guitar improvisations.

started playing guitar and writing his own songs in the seventies. was member of different bands (ikarus, to apeiron...) partially with t.tom and hensen. stopped making music in the eighties. started again in the nineties with his band EAT IT.

T.TOM - HARDDRUMMING
started being somewhere. later on, he decided to play the drums. never did he leavin it. he still is drumming. band history: ikarus, lunabee, EAT IT

B.BASE - DEEPPUNCHING
the moment he was able to count to 3, he took the challenge, now he is 25 years on the 4. Bands: Joe Dalton & the Jojo, Honeysuckle Rose, EAT IT

Influences: raised with the sound and spirit of Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin and others, faced with numetal, nurock, nublues, they created EAT ROCK.

today EAT IT started the recording sessions for their second cd titeled "ten years" at spice recording studios. probably there will be 8 new songs on it. read more in a few weaks.
