Thinking back to as far as i can remember ive always had a love for music, wether it was a song on my mums now collection or something i heard on top of the pops. Growing up in an area full of pirate stations and when garage music was in its prime, it was hard not to like the music everyone was into...UK Garage. At the age of 14 in the year 2000 out came one of my favourite cd's to date, PURE GARAGE, and kick started my career in the world of dj'ing. After listening to UKG for the remainder of my school years, i purchased my first set of decks in 2003!!! Being determined to learn myself how to mix, i spent every bit of time trying and gradually got my head around the mixing side of dj'ing. The year 2004 soon came around, my mixing was increasingly improving and my love for UK Garage was growing bigger.
Mid 2004 came the time when i knew i was ready for pirate radio and got in touch with a local small pirate radio called OUCH FM, being such a small station based in N.London things didnt really plan out and OUCH FM seized broadcasting a few monthes after I joined. Stil being persitant as ever I handed in a demo to another pirate station called VYBE FM, which was based in a completly different area and was mainly supporting the music that I love. After not hearing from the station for a few weeks, i then recieved a phone call telling me id been given a sunday morning show time!!! Knowing it wasnt one of the best show times to have I still took it and hoped all my hard work and love would help me to get a better show. After only being on the station for a month or so, I was offered a new show time being Saturdays 4-6PM!!! Having such a good show time and broadcasting to a much wider audience I knew i had to step it up a level and bring something different to my shows. With my audience growing bigger show by show, i was now doing live phone calls, competitions and rolled out with some wicked uk garage. After a few monthes on Vybe FM, the station decided to change the music policy to house music only and therfore i had to leave and search for my next radio station to DJ on. In august 2006 I found out about a station called SubJam FM and heard they only played one type of music which was UK Garage, being such a busy station with another wide audience i knew this was a station i wanted to be on. I got in contact with management sent them a demo and was given a show time doing thursday nights 12-2am! Again knowing it wasnt the best show time to have i still took it and hoped my persistance and radio knowlegde would help me get a better show time on the station. After a month or so doing 12-2am, the manager of the station was listening in on my show and actually called me during it saying i deserved a better show time and would sort me out a prime time slot. After waiting a few more weeks i got a phone call and was told my new show time was 2-4PM every saturday!!! knowing this was a much better show time and more convienient for myself i took it and have this show to date, so catch me on SubJam 104.7FM every saturday 2-4PM with a show that i call the saturday meltdown!!!Clubs/Bars played at to date:Mint Bar - Camden
