Hello, I'm Clytemnestra; writer, actor and performer.
I helped to co write the short plays Waiting in the Park and The Choice and have trod the boards at The Sunflower Lounge, the Barfly and The Swan Theatre, Stratford Upon Avon (with the Royal Shakespeare Company).
I'm also a keen photographer. I have taken both live and studio shots for Meowsic Industries and have put some of my own personal pictures up on this site. Take a look and let me know what you think.
The writings on this site are all works in progress. Comments will be greatly appreciated.
I'm part of Meowsic Industries, who I would like to thank for all the support they have given me.
I keep it real, supporting my roots.
And I like a laugh too.

              Orkney

Over Christmas my partner and I went to Orkney, off the coast of Scotland, to stop with a friend and her family. Right from the start we were made to feel like family not visitors, even to the point...

Tis the Season to be Reflective.

On Friday I went for an interview for a job I desperately wanted, but unfortunately didn't get (I narrowly lost out to someone with slightly more experience with communities). However, the feedback I ...

              Painters

You emerge from the cellar victorious.Paint flecked and panting, you revel in glory. The demon cellar slain by its new coat of white.

Who Put Bella in the Wych Elm?

On Sunday 4th May I took a rather muddy stroll up Wychbury Hill, Hagley in the West Midlands, UK.The site is the place of an Iron Age Fort, now a mass of impressive earthworks, the Wychbury Obelisk a...

              Undone

Slowly slipping away from this, I walk forward into the unknown.Hide my fear and straighten my back I wait with restless sighs.Crippled by blankness, lost in the night, those dreams that become darker...

              And All Was as Before

Long gone and far away, they came into the grey.Images reflected in memories, darkened by time, captured in innocent glorysleeping softly as time passes.Crows cawing in the bleak distance over frozen ...

              Thinking of Family

Leaving garbled and disjointed phone messagesI repeat words over and over.Swearing unintentionally and then correcting myself.I'm thinking of you.

              In Wessex

The east wind pierced our cheeks  as we walked around the stones. You took your gloves off to take a picture,   then hurriedly put them back on again. The sky threatened snow, but it never ca...
