Adam Bray is an artist, writer of songs, and poet. He was born in Ashford, Kent in 1982, and was diagnosed with dyslexia at the age of five. After recieving an unsatisfactory education at christ church secondary school he began his artistic career in 2001, when he formed post hardcore band Jarius with Dan Lucas. Over the next few years Jarius developed a strong following in underground circles, sharing the stages with the likes of 'Girls Against Boys', and 'Twenty-Seven'. Releasing two independant albums along the way; 2003's seminal 'Need to Change the Mapmaker' and 2005's 'Jairus E.P'. In 2007 he helped start 'Mad Monk' publishing with his artist cousin Matt Bray, a punk publishing group that champions the remodernist manifesto, during that same year he published his first collection of poems 'Building a Bridge of Burning Brick'.Adam left Jarius in 2007 whilst recording their second album. . Henry recorded an E.P of acoustic material "the old life ep" in 2007,Adam has contributed art to "a medway sanctuary" a book that featured artists such as Billy childish and Milton Goines published by urban fox press,He has also recently contributed his prose to the mung being publication, In 2008 he recorded a musical under the psuedynom "Henry carver & the night crawlers" titled "Hard up at high tide" ,Earlier in 2009 he was awarded "the certificate of motivation" by "acomplished artists worldwide" for the song "going home" as of this writing he is releasing his new single "weeds" through "anchor baby recordings" and is working with the reformed "jairus",Coming soon!!!!!!
