Demiurge started its butchering underground music about 1997. Addicted to death metal and black metal, I wanted to create a brutal band!
One year and a half after the band was entierely formed! We changed the name to VISCERAL STRANGULATION.
We recorded in 1999 a 2 songs demo at Repet Plus studio from Lyon : "DEMO 1".
In 2000 we recorded a new demo with a new guitarist, much more in the grind way: "DEMO 2 (The Toxic Avenger Session)".
In 2001 due to problem with line up, we made a very underground and unholy demo: "DEMO 3: Sensation Lost in Time". It's for me the best recording of DEMIURGE.
After 2 news guitarists came and the band turned to brutal death grind in the mighty Agony Conscience way. We recorded a rehearsal demo CD-R in 2003 "DEMO 4 :Underground O'Clock".
At this time I decided to split VISCERAL STRANGULATION and reform DEMIURGE on solo as in the first period. Also more unholiness in the music !!!
In 2004 I recorded the album "CALL OF THE UNDEAD"at Electrogene studio
. It was first a CD-r and after a CD remastered by Dead Sun Rec on 2005.
Later after in 2005 I recorded the album "THE TOMB" more in the UNHOLY GORE GRIND WAY available on free download in the band site.
I've also decided in 2005 to put all the old demo from VISCERAL STRANGULATION on a split cd with DEMIURGE. This CD called "GOROLOGY" is available on free download in the band site.
DEMIURGE is now working on the future album...
BRUTAL UNDERGROUND and UNHOLY as usual.
