Well... in a few words: my upbringing was in a bilingual environment: english and french that is to say, found myself an addiction for art, especially drawing and computer graphics, for sports, namely basketball, and for rap but I used to write more than I rhyme... Kinda short as a self description ? Allright, lemme add details...
Im a writer, and in order to use my writes I started spittin my own lyrics around 1997.. Way before I had to sing songs I felt, I remember myself Turbo B-ing, Hip hop hooray-ing and so on.. I even tried some RnB singing wit former Libermann college classmates, back in the days in Cameroon... I was not really into my own rap touch.. I even missed attemptin shows as I was more focused on basketball.. I joined my rapmate and cousin MWIZZY around 1999 and as a result, we created "Str8 Ballin" hip hop group. That's when my inner rap flame really blew up. Another starship wing, namely cousin PX, joined that vibe with his fire-like tongue, besides he already had a heavy rap résumé.. And that's how the group HARD core had been formed !! from now on, we strugglin hard gettin equiped to drop projects, and by the year 2007, we start seein the light provin that the end of the tunnel is gettin closer.. STR8 BALLIN IS COMING !!
Apart from that, I love basketball a lot and still live my "hall of fame" dreams on playgrounds and summer tournaments when I got some time and that my feet don't hurt.. I keep some highlight material up into my arsenal, but I feel a little less athletic through times.. Anyway love and passion for that sport that gave me my first piece of street identity in the hood, at school, and in life is unlimited and forever a inner great feeling.. Shoot out to Edson (greatest basketball player I've ever seen), Sky Magic (as a mentor), and the list is so long... P.S. I will retire the day that I'll take off from the free throw line...and dunk !! and Im dead serious about this !!
Finally, I was pretty much more skilled using my pencil in high school, but the rise of the computers was a huge makeover. I started using qBasic to draw (those who know can figure how much harsh dat is..) and went through many steps to end up a 3d scenes and flash made animations crazy addict... I use Blender3d, The GIMP and swishmax.. I design websites, 3D artwork, and plan on creatin cartoons, games or short movies..
Besides all this, I like to meet, talk to other people, (It's easier with a piece of common interests and hobbies, but it doesn't really matter where they're from nevertheless) as diversity is the promised future of our lovely planet Earth !!
Str8 Ballin is a hip hop rap family... Members, ex members, family, close friends, almost all our acquainted bros and sis are either close or far part of Str8 Ballin... DJ Noon, AK47...
