Kenny Miller

I have been playing music most of my life.in many bands and also as a solo artist.I have a Diploma in Jazz and Popular Music completing the course as a vocalist.I played lead guitar and sang in "The Flying Saucers" the first reggae band to play in Australia,back in 1977-78,In 1989 I started working with John Dallimore(guitar virtuoso) in a band called "We're Not The Lonely Rangers"-Tim Neal also played saxaphone and Hammond organ both awesome players.I still perform with John at present in a duo and on occassion with him in "The Groove Doctors" along with the incredibly talented Glenn Suckling on bass and Chris (powerhouse)Barton on the drums.All three play with "Max Merritt" when he's in the country,and I consider myself blessed to associate with people of such a high callibre of musicianship.In the 80's I did 100's of solo gigs at the infamous 'Eureka Hotel" in Geelong supporting top Australian bands and International acts.In 1990 I sang upfront in an 8 piece band called 'Hipnotation" a swing band doing mainly Louis Jordan tunes.It had a great horn section.This was Greg Waugh's baby and he charted all of the music for each instrument,a pure genius.I love singing Jazz standards those songs are timeless and well written.==============================================I'm into= Social cohesion-Intelligent conversation--Playing piano when I'm smashed with friends-The Universe-Vocal harmony-Delicious red wines-Biographies of famous musicians-Quantum physics-Religion-Evolution- Trying to convert religious people to Atheism,Buddy our feline friend-
