VERBAL ASSAULT was a U.S hardcore punk band that started in Newport, Rhode Island. They played their first show on November 21st, 1983, released a demo tape (The Masses), three EP’s (Learn, On and Exit), a 7" (Tiny Giants) and an LP (Trial). Throughout the ’80s, V.A toured North America and Europe extensively and played their last show on August 4th, 1991.
I have created this FAN PAGE because it strikes me how they managed to create a 100% original sound and could impress with every recording, regardless the way their sound evolved from ’83 to ’91. This is definately a band to remember for its personal & intelligent lyrics, passionate voice and incredible music.
