My Phillosophies in life:
You can tell what someone is hiding by how they hide it- unknown
Murmering is the death of love- unknown
Omission is a truth written in invisible ink- Poetik Pryncess
When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time- Maya Angelou
It takes no courage to get in the back of a crowd and throw a rock- Thurgood Marshall
Black anger always, in a way, flatters white power- Shelby Steele
Do not look where you fell, but where you slipped- African Proverb
However far the stream flows, it never forgets its source- Yoruba proverb
If I speak in the tones of angels, but have not love, I'm only a resounding noise-Stacie Orrico
Poetry 101
I'mna conduct a lesson titled Poetry: 101
Poetry don't gotta be complicated
Why is it that us poets have to manipulate words onto paper
Then rape your mind of understanding to be understood?
I will NOT compromise my craft
In exchange for your snaps
Poetry has become the latest hieroglyphics of society
A bunch of noun-verb-adverb-preposition gibberish
CoordinatedThisCleverly that the lack of content diminishes
In comparison to the multi-syllabic riddle that to this day
I bet you STILL can't quite grasp, which defines the reason it's a favorite.
When I write, I don't need you to beat my words to a pulp,
Or add a little sugar before takin a gulp
You see I write to an audience of one
And that one would be me
Now if the world nods in agreement then HEY why NOT
Go out for ice cream and celebrate
But understand that I do not know you or adore you
So flatter not yourself into understanding my art
For I only write to be understood, though not particularly by you.
Poetik Pryncess

What women should know
There's no such thing as ghetto love
He eitha loves you or loves you not
Quit making excuses for what he ain't doin
And what he did once caught
Too many of us juss sit around thinkin
That you gonna make him change
He ain't changin fa you, He'on have to
And you prove that everyday
When you see through his lies but don't say a word
Hear that girl call but doubt what you heard
Smile when you see him when you really wanna cry
Cuz he hurt you so bad when he tolju that lie
When you go mess around so things will be even
But then he finds out and tells you he's leavin
And you beg him to stay when things get worse
Completely forgetin who did what first
And now you tell yourself that you dont deserve him
So you do anything that you feel preserves him
From these man-hungry females who he happens to adore
Cuz you can't tell yaself he'on love you no more
So now you tellin yaself that it's ghetto love
It's tha kinda love they show when they ain't got no mo
And tha quicker you realize that tha better off you'll be
Need ta wake up girl, you'on even know you asleep
Gotta let things go no matter how hard you fought
Cuz in the end he eitha loves you or he loves you not
